Bridge Day is in:

  • Identify a group leader - Brian Saul
  • Return a completed application for each member.
  • Submit a JPEG or TIFF photo (“head shot”) for each member with his/her application.   Names and photos should be easily identified.
  • Enclose a non-refundable $129 per application
  • Enclose a non-refundable $11 team fee. (Make checks payable to Bridge Day Rappel)

    Reminder *Team Leader must submit:

    radio frequency form

    rope ascent request form

    team training log    
  • *Mail completed and signed forms to the team leader

    The following gear is required of our team per guidelines:

    900 Foot 7/16” Static Rope (minimum)

    Weight/ 8 Pound Min. (for end of rope during lowering)

    3 Rope Pads (2 hand rails/ catwalk frame/ jct. Plate)

    1 Small Pulley (used in deploying rope over hand rail)

    1 Small Runner (to attach pulley to hand rail)

    1 Ascender (Inverted it can hold rope load while you rig in)

    1 Small Runner (to attach ascender to handrail)

    1 Safety Runner Attached To Hand Rail (clipped to rapeller until rack is loaded and checked, then removed)

    3 Locking Snap links (for pulley, ascender, and safety runner)

    We probably want to remember the following:

    Pruners to clear out landing zone

     

    The following Personal Gear is required according to Passages:

    Harness

    QAS (personal safety device)

    Rappel Rack (minimum 12 inch/ no “U” racks)

    Change Over Gear

    3 Locking Snap links

    Helmet With Chin Strap

    Gloves

    2-Way Radio - Communication With Your Team (remember the channels should go above 14
